MyKanta is a personal online service where users can
- view their prescription data
- view their patient data
- view their social welfare client data (from late 2023)
- act on behalf of another adult or a minor
- have a say in how their data are shared
- submit an organ donation testament and living will.
Acting on behalf of another person in MyKanta
MyKanta can be used by authorised persons on behalf of another adult or a minor. A guardian or authorised family member can view another person's prescription and patient data as well as social services client data in MyKanta. Read the instructions for acting on behalf of another person.

Clients can manage the use of their data in My Kanta
The data stored in Kanta Services is also available to other health and social services professionals if the client has given their consent to this. Consent to data sharing can be given once the client has received information about the operating principles of the Kanta Services and the use of their data in social welfare and healthcare services. This is called ‘Information about the Kanta Services’.
The client can acknowledge the provided information about the Kanta Services themselves on MyKanta after which they will be able to manage the use of their data.
