In collaboration with the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL), we have added validity information to the specifications of the Kanta services. The needs for development arose from customer requirements and the regulations governing information management.

Priorities for development in 2024

The Kanta Services are being harmonised and modernised through a transition from document structures to data modelling. In 2024, several new data contents, such as appointment booking for health care, will be implemented in accordance with the FHIR standard.
