Kanta.fi will undergo a makeover on 22 March The website’s colours and fonts will change, but users will log in to MyKanta as they always have.
Kanta.fi, the website for the Kanta Services, is being updated on 22 March 2025. The colours, fonts and icons on the website will be given a new look. At the same time, minor changes will be made to the front pages and navigation of the website. The content of the website will remain unchanged.
The update may cause short periods of downtime on the website on Saturday 22 March. However, you will still be able to log in to MyKanta and other Kanta Services during any downtime.
The update will improve user-friendliness
The changes will improve the accessibility and usability of the site. The changes to the website’s appearance are related to the development of the user interfaces of Kela’s digital services that use the Kela Design System. The Kela Design System is a uniform system used in the design and implementation of Kela’s digital services.
The Kanta.fi website is used not only by citizens who use MyKanta, but also by organisations and professionals in the social welfare and healthcare sector, and by information system providers who develop client and patient information systems.
The change will not affect the use of MyKanta
