Patient data interface for wellbeing applications

Patient data interface for wellbeing applications

The patient data interface allows applications and digital health services to retrieve patient data from Kanta for use by clients. This means that patient data recorded by other service providers will also be visible in your digital health service.

Wellbeing applications can help clients to promote their health. The interface enables the development of personalised services for clients.

More extensive access to patient data in digital health services

Using the interface, digital health services can retrieve all patient data stored about the client in Kanta. The client will therefore be able to access any patient data stored by other service providers. This means that data recorded in the public, private and occupational health sectors can all be viewed using the same service.

The interface provides the client with a comprehensive view of their own patient data. Patient records can be used in different ways in the interface to support the care provided for the patients.

The interface can be used to develop new types of applications

The interface can be used to develop applications that make use of users' patient data. For example, applications can support clients with monitoring and preventing illnesses.

The interface can be used to develop more personalised and effective health applications. Applications that use it can, for example, combine patient data stored in Kanta with data generated by the application.

How to start using the interface for wellbeing applications
