Customers can now also ask questions about MyKanta on Instagram

Kanta Services is adding Instagram to its range of social media channels. We want to provide customers with an easy and accessible way to ask questions about MyKanta and Kanta-related topics on a platform that many people use on a daily basis.

More and more people are turning to social media channels to find information. Social welfare and healthcare customers rely on various service providers and need guidance on what they can do in MyKanta and what information is displayed in MyKanta. Many people manage their own affairs as well as those of someone else, such as a minor or an elderly relative.

“Our goal is to make it easy for customers to access the information they need through a channel they regularly use. Our team of experts on Instagram is ready to answer customer inquiries,” says Pilvi Aalto, Specialist in charge of communications at Kela’s Kanta Services.

Current information about MyKanta and tips for using the service

Kanta's Instagram account provides tips and guidance on managing your health matters and more. 

“MyKanta is Finland's most widely used digital service for social welfare and healthcare, with approximately one million monthly users. We share instructions on Instagram on how to renew prescriptions, check test results, and manage health matters for a child or a loved one. We explain how young people can use MyKanta independently, and provide tips on how to record personal measurement results, such as blood sugar and heart rate, in MyKanta,” Aalto says.
