The Patient Data Repository in Kanta makes oral health care data available to all professionals involved in the patient’s treatment. It allows information to flow smoothly between public and private oral health care services, and elsewhere in health care services when needed.
Oral health care professionals can also access the patient’s other treatment history in Kanta. This makes it easier to understand the patient’s situation and to consider potential risks or factors that may affect treatment, such as medication.
Patients can view their oral health care information in MyKanta, which promotes the patient’s commitment to their treatment.
