Interruptions in the services in September 2023

2–3 September: Short interruptions in the Kanta Services possible

Time: between 8am on 2 September 2023 and 11pm on 3 September 2023

Due to maintenance work in the Valtori VY network, there may be short interruptions in Kanta services.

Short interruptions may affect the following:

• the issuing of prescriptions in the patient data system if the person issuing the prescription is subject to restrictions with regard to their professional practice rights
• Kelain service
• the transfer of electronic prescriptions between EU countries
• Valvira’s role and attribute service.

In the event of a service interruption, please try to access the service again later.

9 – 10 September: Short interruptions in the Kanta Services possible

Time: 9 September 2023 between 3 pm – 4 pm and 10 September 2023 between 3 pm – 4 pm

Due to maintenance work in the Valtori VY network, there may be short interruptions in Kanta services.

Short interruptions may affect the following:

25 September: Short interruptions in the Kanta Services possible

Time: 25 September 2023 between 8.30pm and 0.30am

Kanta-service is undergoing technical maintenance work, due to which there may be interruptions in the use of the services. 

Please try to access the service again in a while.

30 September: Interruption in the transmission of medical certificates and statements to Kela

Time: 30 September 2023 between 6am and 8pm

Due to scheduled system deployment at Kela, there will be interruptions in the transmission of electronic medical certificates and statements to Kela between 6am and 8pm.

During the interruption, medical certificates and statements cannot be transmitted from healthcare providers to Kela. Doctors should instead follow the standard instructions and print out any medical certificate they issue on paper, sign it manually, and hand it over to the patient.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

30 September: Interruption in the Kanta Services 

Time: 30 September 2023 between 7am and 10am

Kanta Service is undergoing technical maintenance, as a result of which there will be an interruption in the following services: 

• MyKanta
• My Kanta Personal Health Record: authorization
• Kanta Extranet

Please try to access the service again after the interruption, if necessary.

30 September: Short interruptions in the Kanta Services possible

Time: 30 September 2023 between 8am and 6pm

Due to maintenance work carried out in the data system of European Commission, there will be an interruption in the following Kanta service:

• Delivery of e-prescriptions between different EU countries
